Quiet System

My truck is a pretty street queen 2004 F150 Lariat Screw. I want to put a Magnaflow cat back system with duel tips exiting behing the rear wheel. I don't want all the noise coming into the quiet cab I have now. Any one have suggestions of what type of muffler I should use?

Thanks all

You could just have a shop put a Y-pipe on your stock muffler. It shouldn't make it much louder if any and you would still get the look you want.

If you don't want to hear it at all, why mess with it and why spend the money? If you just want to see two pipes coming out, get a tail pipe "Y" that has 2 tips.

I think what you probably want is the longest Mangnaflow available. Another option might be the exhaust for the Harley truck.

Thumbs up

I've been looking at a SI/SO cat-back system from Magnaflow, but the kit comes with the 18" muffler. I want the kit, but with a 24" muffler. I also want the performance/sound, just "not in the cab".

I would say just order the Longest Muffler you can find from Magnaflow (I think it's 24") and have a shop run the pipes for you.

18" Magnaflow, its slightly louder than stock and sounds better, no interior drone.
