Header coating

I know it would be best to just wait and save up a little longer, but the factory paint vs the heavy ceramic coating, how quickly will just the painted headers rust out? I don't drive where they lay down salt so that won't really be an issue. and yes they'll be LT's so we don't need to bring joey in to talk about how shorties are worthless. just looking for real world examples, I know one guy on here said his were rusted after 6 months another said he's gone 3 years. just looking for some input. thanks,

Any headers i have ever put on that were painted starting rusting quickly.
I have not bought any in several years so the paint could be better now?? I think jbrew has had his on for about a month. He might chime in.

thanks thats what i figured, I actually decided to buy the global COP's and a couple other little tune up/appearance things instead of the headers I was looking at, guess I'll have to start saving again.
