HELP on combo

Hey guys i have a magna flow dual exaust on my 5.4, ill clean it and it will be black the next day, i wanted to know what that ment, my friend said i was running rich, the question is i just got a edge and looking into a intake and was wondering if a intake would make it less rich, and heard about bad noise coming from aftermarket intakes and edge programmers.

Hey f150, yeah it sounds like you're running very rich.. won't hurt your engine, you're just wasting a lot of gas and not getting all the power you should..

I think you should give the Edge folks a call before you install any intake.. They can probably give you some adjustments to make to correct the rich condition.

One caveat about the Edge and cai's is that you may go from rich to lean, lean enough to damage the engine..

Give 'em a call with the details, I'm sure they can help you adjust the timing to eliminate the rich condition.. and also ask them about CAI's with their product..

Let us know what you find out..
