Hey all,

So I keep reading around here that there are lean issues with certain intakes, and you need to have the truck tuned to alleviate this issue. I am looking at the AF1, and was wondering if I would have this issue? The only other mod to the truck is the Magnaflow 3in single side exit exhaust.

You'll be fine with that combo.... and it's a good one.

The pre-04 trucks have much less tendency to be adversely affected by a quality CAI. MAF design is totally different.

Great, I didn't want to do both the custom tuning and the intake at once!! I guess i will have to go order the intake now!
