Which one?

Im lookin into getting exhaust for my f-250 but it has the 5.4 so i figured more people in here have the 5.4 than the f-250 forum. im lookin at magnaflow and flowmaster. which one sounds the best? i want it to be loud but not deafening. i also want that deep good sound. not some crappy sounding thing. i know some of you have to have either or have had both. which one meets those standards? thanks.

I've had both. Flows on the old truck, Mag on this one. I prefer my Magnaflow.

Go with the cherry bomb extreme muffler. It has a nice deep tone.

Hey jbrew!!!

No i don't really know much except that i have tried a handful of dif exhausts on my truck and the set up i am currently works the best by far.

Built54 will prob chime in also and he has had over 20 dif exhaust systems and counting....

OP read this on flowmaster....https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...88&postcount=9

I 've tried two - Flows & Maggies .. That's not really a fair comparison

Yea , Built54 is the expert thru trialing diff types.. I like the fact that he has dyno tested shorties vrs longtubes and posted the results... That bit of info has to have help allot people who may be looking for raw power in the headers dept..

I may swap out my 22 for a quieter 18 offset..That 22 is louder w/headers..
