I just ordered my AF1 intake for my 2005 4.6l. However I was a little confused on if I should get a throttle body spacer or not. I have heard that they are pointless and I have heard people really like them. So will it really matter if i have one or not? any help is appreciated

 

would you sooner have $80 or an $80 paper wieght. Its the placebo affect. you are looking for gains, but they are all in your head

 

TB spacers do not help at all, if anything its just 1 or 2 horsepower, while theres other mods out there like spark plugs or performance oil or something else thats cheaper that will do gain more and cost way less. TB spacers only really help on carb engines, not on fuel injected.

 

All the reading I have done points to a hoax. If you believe the manufacture...try it and let us know!

I've got the AF1 on my '05 4.6 and there's no need for any tb spacer..
