This is my 1991 F-150, 5.0. About 100,000 miles ago I had the stock exhaust removed up to the CAT. Then they opened up the CAT to 3" and went back with a SINGLE Flowmaster out the side, just ahead of the rear tire. The truck runs and sounds a ton better. Before when I got on it, the thing sounded like an air compressor with a leak. Now it actually sounds and runs like a truck. Everything was welded, no clamps. Mel

 

Well I couldn't figure out why but the magnaflow people had a much better price then banks would offer me. Banks just wouldn't work with me and although I like it a lot, I don't see how their kit is worth $135 bucks more. Banks was $475 plus tax which came to about $510, magnaflow was $375, no tax, no shipping. so I ordered a magnaflow.. we will see how it goes!

still waiting.. the fed ex site says delivery for this thursday 11/8.. kinda pissed actually hottexhaust told me 4 days max for my area. That was a week ago today i ordered it.. oh well!! I will get pics on here when I get it on hopefully I can do it friday!!

 

I just had the side exit kit installed and there is no drone at all. Loud when you want it, quiet when you dont! Fit was perfect.
Only problem I dont like is the dual tips on the side exit seem off from one another. One hangs alittle lower then the other for some reason. There is no drone.

In fact wondering if magnaflow rep will chime in here...
