From what I read the technical difference between the "Legal" & "Off Road" systems is the amount of sound deadening material in the muffler, other than that, they are identical.........:fyi:

the legal system has sound abatement in the tips as well- the off-road has 4" clear tips (just shiny stainless steel) the legal tips reduce down to 2 inches or so interior clearance due to some 'muffling' etc...

You will find that after driving with this exhaust for several months, you are gonna ask yourself, How did I get along with out this exhaust? It makes driving the F-150 so much more fun! Trust me, it will get louder, in time, my legal Roush did, & I like it, I even get a little popping effect on startup, sounds so mean.................:thumbsup:
