Intake without reprogramming?

Hi, I have a 2005 5.4L. Everything is stock at the moment...

I'm putting in a custom true dual exhaust. I was thinking about also putting in an intake. Do you have to reprogram for all intakes on this motor?

I stayed with 3 inch ducting for my intake and no problems at all. I would imagine the same for all trucks. Stuff going over 3 inches needs a tune.

3" AF1 or Airraid are the two best intakes if you dont plan to do custom tuning. they will provide good power gains while at the same time keeping your engine from running lean.
