LT's are illegal if you get caught with them, tampering with cats is illegal if you get caught, no muffler is illegal if you get caught and high flows are illegal if you get caught. Get it smogged then it's not due again for 2,3,4 years? Then do what you want. Ricers with fart cans and NOS stickers on their cars will most likely get pulled over and inspected before you. That's what I'm gonna do at least. I have an advantage though. Being military I can register mine out of state if I need to.

If there are no O2 sensors behind those cats, then you'll be fine. You may notice a low end power loss. I did the same to a truck several years ago and noticed the power loss immediately.
