help.

does anyone know the best way to fix a leak where the the emissions tube goes into the exhaust manifold on the drivers side? it ticks and makes it sound like S#!%. it sounds like an old run down chevy. i was going to get that liquid steel stuff but if i do that it will make putting a new one in down the road be a pain. the manifold is fine (believe it or not on an old ford, knock on wood) but i just was wondering if there was a good quick fix out there for that that would hold it over till i can fix it later on. thanks.

My guess is you'll need, at minimum, to replace the EGR tube. But you'll probably find that the nut and manifold are now joined forever meaning replacement of both.

Just my guess. Maybe others have been through this. Good luck.
