Magnaflow is a strait thru design, like glasspacks but much better sounding. Slowmaster's are of a baffled design, not as good for power gains.

My money is on Magnaflow.

Magnaflow is better for performance, but if your just wanting it to sound cool with minor performance increases, go flowmaster.

The smallest Mag you can find will be the loudest.

the 14" magnapacks, they have a 4" diameter.

i have the super44 and i love it. very loud, and toned, keeps getting louder as it breaks in. very minimal highway drone too.

Cool, you're entitled to it as much as the next bloke.

For the record, on these trucks, I think the Magnaflow sounds very average.

Cheers.

That's where we differ. I think the FM's sound average. Everyone around here has them. Guess these backwoods rednecks only know 1 brand of muffler. It would be like trying to tell them there are other NASCAR drivers besides Dale Earnhardt. They don't want to hear it.

I thought FM's sounded good "back in the day". Now my tastes have changed. I want a little more mellow sound.
