is it worth it to spend 200 on a 75mm throttle body for my 98 F150 4.6.. i currently have a flowmaster catback and have my AF1 and troyer tuned Xcal coming tomarrow.. im looking for an easy hp gain.. if i do will it make a difference if i dont get it retuned for it.. thanks for the advice in advance... also i will be completing my exhaust with long tubes, hi flows, and a di/do muffler(not sure which one yet) in the near future so take that in consideration if it will help... thanks.. After I install the BBK t/b on my 2000F-150w/4.6,I didnt notice any difference in performance.If there was any difference in performance,it would have to be measured on a dyno.I did notice the engine idled better and when I mashed the gas pedal,I could hear the air being pulled into the my intake.I dont regret installing the t/b,but I think next time I would save my $$ and buy something that I would see and feel some performance,like a set of gears or an e-fan.I believe your factory t/b is good for about 300 h.p.The BBK t/b looks nice,but you might want to rethink spending your $$ on something else.Just my opinion,good luck.

The gain from a 75 mm TB on a stock 4.6 is just 2 - 3 hp. You can't feel any difference.
