can you dump a si/do?

can you dump a si/do?

I was just wondering if you could use a si/do muffler and just two turn downs? Has anyone done this? sound good?

yea im pretty sure you can. there is some videos on youtube of 150's with super 44 muffler and turndowns

If you're going to dump, you may as well get a SI/SO. Unless you put tailpipes on aft of the muffler, the SI/SO and SI/DO probablyl sound the same. The reason I'm saying this is because the SI/SO may be cheaper than the SI/DO.

I just have straight pipes coming off the cats dumped before the axle. I have a x pipe before they are dumped.

Thats what I have SI/DO flowmaster two short turndowns before the axle. Sounds pretty good.

Yes you can, I have the same setup, got a good deal on the muffler I couldn't pass up.... Mine is a one chamber and it sounds mean!! I still want it louder so cats are next!!!
