Exhaust ideas ?

hey all, i have an 04' f150 5.4L and i want to change up my exhaust system. I was looking at a dynomax cat back system, anyone have experience with this exhaust ? I really dont want to over spend, just want to gain some rumble in the sound and for some better breathing for the engine. let me know if there are better systems out there for my money.

dynomax has the best exhaust flow of anyone out there. they use straight through designs. if you want a nice sound, get their welded muffler. if you want it pretty loud, get their bullet muffler.

All of the catbacks are expensive IMO.I would buy the muffler and have it custom done for less $$$.
If your set on catback there are a ton of choices out there....
Magnaflow,Corsa,Roush are all good, didn't know Dynomax made a catback?

I think I am doing the same thing. Jegs has a Dynomax catback for 265.99 that I believe will fit your truck. I thought this was pretty reasonable.

will dynomax bullets make you lose low end torque like everyone says flowmaster does?

nope. the bullets are a straight through design, with only a 12" case. maximum airflow (more then magnaflow) and still plenty loud. best of both worlds. go fir it

I have a dynomax single side exit before the rear tire. Great performance! really low deep rumble, but I would like it to be a little louder.

not that i know of. cant feel any difference over stock. i added an intake as well and actually noticed increases in power in the lower RPMs.

the 44s sound amazing. its not raspy, just a very loud very clean tone. love it.
