Front of tire exit

Have an 05 SCREW 4x4 with the stock Ford tube steps.

Would the Magnaflow or other side exit exhausts fit with the steps? If so, are the side exit kits louder than the rear exit? I'm looking for something quiet but with a decent performance increase.

I know that the magnaflow dual front side exit works fine with the step board.

Yes the side exit kit is a little bit louder, but there's no in-cab drone.

Yeah, that's the biggest thing - drone. Does the magnaflow rear exit tend to have the dreaded drone?

Well if my side exit has no drone, I can't imagine the rear exit having a drone either. If anything it would just be quieter in the cab.

Well Sound is subjective so it just all depends on you yourself. One guy may not think to where you might all depends. I personally have heard it on a guys truck here at work and its sounds great inside and out but that me.

I just had the side exit kit installed and there is no drone at all. Loud when you want it, quiet when you dont! Fit was perfect. Only problem I dont like is the dual tips on the side exit seem just a tad off from one another. One hangs alittle lower then the other for some reason. Not enough to notice unless you retared about fit and finish like me. There is no drone.
