i have a 1993 ford f-150 5.0 v8 and i need a new cat. when i go online and type in what im lookin for all that pops up are cats that lookj totally wrong. the one i have know appears to have 2 cats. all the ones i see online have 1. anyone know of a place only to get one. also it has to pass ca smog

 

just go down to autozone or napa and get a universal converter. probably run you about 50-100$. any decent muffler shop can weld it on for you, maybye chagre you 50$.

 

id do that put its too much trouble. plus i just want the stock ca1talytic converter. one that i know will pass smog

 

it will pass smog. just tell parts guy f150 5.0 and thats it. stock converter will be twice as much.i did this on my 94 dakota and im in massachusetts. they are strict up here with smog also. i passed no problem.
