completely different from the other guy's post... ive got this annoying *** tick that does not go away for about 20 min after the truck's turned off, once it gets warm, it starts, and then doesn't go away... its coming from under the bed where i have the exhaust dumpped at... the sound has become known to my friends as "the tinkering gnomes"???
Any ideas? only thing i can come up with is the metal in the glass pack, or from my hanger empanding/contracting.....

 

your exhaust always makes some ticking noises after you turn it off.its just cooling down. try touching your cat converter after 20 mins of sitting.
