I am a new owner and new member as well. Can't decide which mods to do first but I am considering exhaust and intake upgrades.

2 questions:

1. Outlaw vs AF1 Is there an advantage that the Outlaw filter is fully enclosed as far as keeping dust and dirt out?

2. MagnaFlow SI/SO vs SI/DO. Are both of these dual exhaust set ups and if so what's the advantage of 1 over the other?

I have a 2004 Lariat SCrew.

 

1. Whichever you like better. Different people will give you different suggestions, but the general consensus is that they are both good

2. SI/SO=single inlet, single outlet SI/DO=single inlet, double outlet.

 

Its your personal preference on both items. You cant go wrong with any of the items you mentioned. I would look at a programer first then decide on an exhaust and intake.
