i think about cutting my dual off and dump them before or just little after the axel. would there be any noticeable difference between the two?

 

not really that noticeable... Id do it right before.

 

You'll hear it better the closer to the cab you go, dump in front

only adverse effect is some people believe that the hot exhaust gases will shorten the life of your axle, and rear end.

BTW mines in front of the axle, about 2' so i think there is plenty of room to disperse the hot gas into the air flowing under the truck.

 

Mine is dumped before the axle. I am about to get it extended after the axle. The Dynomax Bullet still sounds great, but the drone has really picked up the last couple of months. People in the back seat have a hard time hearing anybody in the front. I might run it out behind the rear tire, haven't decided yet.

 

i think of cutting it right before the pipes start going up and over the axel and just do that or cut them complety off and get like a turn dow tip or just some 45degree pipe.

 

That's what i did.I just cut them off right after the muffler.It added a considerable amount of sound after.You will get more drone in the cab though.

 

true fully i like a little droning, just insurer's me that its really loud on the outside

 

thats exactly where i cut mine. but i dont have turn downs, i think that might be the reason why my pinion seal keeps leaking though(exhaust melting it)

 

how much would dumping my exhaust before axle cost me about?

 

well if u all ready have the exhaust system ran and a sawsaw then it would cost about half a hours work lol

I myself don't see a problem with heat unless you were close to the rear end.Also IMO it is going to take alot of heat to mess up the rear end.I think your worrying to much.
