FX4 owners....Tell me about your exhaust setup...

There are so many options! I want a nice sounding exhaust that isnt obnoxious and I dont want to loose any low end torque. Tell me about what you have on your truck

I ended up getting a kit from Vortex for my truck. Its a single in dual out that comes out the back of the truck and it seems to work great, its not too loud, you notice a little bit more sound around idle and cruising but you can tell that its aftermarket when you put the pedal down. Im pretty happy with it though.

but when I get the money I plan to upgrade to a Corsa exhaust. Do a search on Corsa in the forums and you'll see posts.

Magnaflow 18" single-in, dual-out with 3" SS tips done by a local muffler shop. Had the same setup on my '03 FX4, and I love it! Only cost me $350 installed.

On my 03 5.4 FX4, I've got 2.5'' true duals, 2 high flow cats, an x pipe, and a magnaflow muffler. My dynatech longtube headers are on the way. For maximum horsepower, this is the way to go.

I have a Magnaflow SI/DO complete stainless steel custom exhaust on my '06 FX4. Sounds great. Nice torque. Check out my gallery for some pics.

I have the Corsa SI/DO sport system with the pro 4" series tips. It is sick. NO annoying drone, and incredibly easy install. This is my first cat back system and I don't think i will ever use anything else.

Thumbs up Corsa

I highly recommend the Corsa too. I have the SI/SO with the pro tips and it sounds awesome.

I've had ALOT of different exhausts ... Borla, B&B, MagnaFlow, Bassani, JDM, the list goes on and on ... this is one of my favorites. The sound is great and the fit & finish is absolutely second to none.

I got the SI/SO magnaflow exhaust. Since I pull a camper I needed the low end torgue. SI/SO gain torgue loose horsepower, but SI/DO loose torgue and gain horsepower.

I am running a SIDO, Series 40 Flowmaster, with the 2.5" piping and 3.5" tips. It has a good strong sound. It's not too loud inside the truck, but sounds great outside the truck. I could tell a small change in power after I installed it. I am getting about the same MPG though.

Well I had my exhaust installed today....I have a '04 FX4. I went with a 18" Magnaflow (part#12256) SI/SO and went with a 3 1/2 inch Magnaflow tip. It's 18" long with rolled edge. I love the way it sounds now. I had the installer put the muffler as far back as possible, but still stay underneath the heat shield.
