Resonator question?

So right now i just have a single straight pipe exhaust with the lightning exit (in front of rear wheel). I like the way it sounds MOST of the time, but when I get in between 1750-2000 rpm, the resonance inside the cab is pretty annoying. And considering the fact that those rpms are usually where i am at when accelerating, it is getting old fast.

So my question is this, would installing a resonator help with the inside the cab sound? And no I dont want a muffler, i have tried the maggie and the flowmaster and dont like muffled sound i like it loud but not annoying, make sense?

All comments are greatly appreciated, and keep up the good site everyone, your doing great!

Why not pipe it out the back? Mine droned inside terrible until I got a maggie Y pipe and dualed it out the back with resonating tips.

Ya, most straight pipes are loud. I think a resonator would help, but a muffler would be more legal too

honestly my pipe isnt that loud, seriously. The only thing that bothers me is the internal sound.

Now i am planning on getting those maggie high flow cats, then it will be LOUD!

Maybe try that Dynamat stuff to line the floor inside the cab? Would probably keep some of the sound out of the interior anyway, and then you wouldn't have to mess with exhaust set up if you like how it sounds currently on the outside.

No personal experience with Dynamat but reviews seem to be good for it keeping sound in/out.
