I run true duels X-Piped with 14 inch manaflows dumped and it sounds great IMO!!I guarantee you gain a bunch of low end power over the Slowmaster 40

The x pipe is needed when using two seperate mufflers. I have a single maggie, that is DI/DO with what they call an X-Core, so I didn't need one...but it all depends on the muffler you are interested in using.

The X-Pipe improves scavenging and balances out the exhaust much better!!I would say it is a must have on true duels unless you get the X-piped muffler. For X-Pipe 2 1/4 inch is what you should make the pipe all the way back!!Mufflers 2 single inlet/outlet mufflers or 1 duel inlet/outlet muffler.
I think built54 has 2 1/2 inch pipe but he has more mods than most people have.
What style muffler do you want??2 seperate or 1 single with duel inlets and outlets??

Yes I am running an X-Core muffler, and I love it! I am so happy with the sound, no drone, its nothing too turn heads from 2 blocks away, but it makes some serious rumble in the lower regions, and I have never not liked it, especially on the long hauls from VA-OK and NC to NY, never had a drone problem or anything, I love it! Only problem I have had with the exhaust was fixed today, after I backed into a concrete block in CHarlotte and crushed the tip agains my tire :-/ lol but that was my fault lol.

yeah theres an exit off of 77. I go up too my old school, and have too pretty soon to finish up my enlistment paperwork. Its in Cornwall-On-Hudson (New York Military Academy). Its near Newburgh. I absolutely love the exhaust, I was thinking after that whole crushing tip thing, about getting it dumped today, but I had one tip already lol, might as well just throw a new one on the otherside lol.
