I am going to put on the AF1 (3 inch) intake tomorrow that I got from the classifieds. Any special instructions or is it self-explanatory?

It is for a 2006 F150 5.4 V-8

 

It's pretty self explainitory. Unbolt and remove the OEM one, replace with AF1. Make sure the plug for the MAS is facing down.

 

You will have to remove the expected stock parts. You may have to alter the shroud if you want to keep one on. I did on my 2003, not sure ifd thesame is true for the 3V. I found it easier to assemble most of the intake before trying to line it all up.
