Do I have "true" duels or not..PICS SHOWN!
Do I have "true" duels or not..PICS SHOWN!
Well , the pictures showed the exhausts come out the back straight. There are two mufflers, and The pipes seem to exit the engine from different areas, about a foot and a half apart! I'm not sure if true or the shameful untrue? One is of tips of exhausts, one is of mufflers, and one is of where the pipes stem from the engine

And ifIhave true duels, what kind of catalytic converter do i need? What do I need if they are not true? And do I need two of them if I have true duels?
Last question is would a high flow catalytic converter or an X pipe increase the volume, but not change the drone, of a 5.0L v8 1996 f150? I kow it lotta questions but all info will help. Thanks

With duels, and two mufflers, do I need front, rear, or front+rear converters?
And, whatever I get, I'll need two, one ofr each pipe, right?
How does this one look to you, will is sound louder than stock?

First of all if both manifold pipes do not tie together in to one pipe and then go seperatly to the mufflers then it's true. True duals is just that, one pipe off of each manifold running down to a x pipe or straight to the mufflers. If you have 2 pipes running down then tieing into one pipe then a "Y" back into 2 pipes this is not a true dual system. Why put cat's on a truck that doesn't have them unless you have to go thru an inspection, and then I would go with one High flow cat in front of each muffler. High flow cats will decrease the sound some but not as much as a OEM cat.
