intake and exhaust af1 magnaflow help
Just wanted to say hey to everybody, i'm new to the site. Couple a questions for you guys. Got a 06 scab fx4 and want to put both intake and exhaust on it. Heard great things about the af1 but i hear I'll have to use the 3'' instead of 3.5'' so i don't get a lean. Is that what everyone would recommend over say a volant. I was thinking about running a siso magnaflow system with an 18'' because i don't want something obnoxious like on the highway but still have a nice rumble on startup and idle. would the sido give me more sound. I heard the siso on the magnaflow and it doesn't sound all the loud. Trying to order stuff now so i can install when i get home from iraq.
Thanks
Thanks

Welcome and it looks like you have done your research
Yes the AF1 is highly recommended here. Also yes you can only use the 3 inch AF1 to keep your A/F ratios correct. The 3.5 inch AF1 will cause it to run dangerously lean with no tune!!
I don't have the magnaflow catback so i can't say which one is best for you?
I am sure some others will chime in to help out.The roush exhaust and Corsa exhaust looks like a good product to IMO.
Also if you are considering getting a SI/SO exhaust why not just buy the muffler and put it in place of the stocker??That will give you more cound and save ya alot of $$$

If you're going for the AF1 and exhaust you might as well hit Troyer up for a package deal and get the AF1, exhaust and some tunes.
Killer advice from Kevin on the muffler.
On a side note I have the Roush "legal" SIDO and it sounds exactly like what you are looking for. Start up rumble, nice deep tone during light and medium take offs and if you stomp on it the whole intersection knows whats up
