hi, my dads got a 2003 f150 with a 4.6 and i was wondering what kind of mods do yall start off with?
ive got a 94 mustang and im pretty familiar with what mods do and what kinds of gains can be expected but as with any car the mods differ

i got him a K&N filter and im going to do get rid of the air silencer so what other supporting mods would be good?

i was thinkin exhaust, nothin too loud (he turned 50 yesterday) but somthing with a nice idle and a moderate roar during acceleration
i was thinkin true duals with magnaflows

anyway, i would really appreciate some advice or ideas on this so any help you could give would be greatly appreciated

 

get some long tube headers and dual exhaust, tranny shift kit some 24# injectors, a 75mm throttle body and a dyno tune
