Airaid Spacer

Is anyone on here running the Airaid Throttle Body Spacer? This is the one in question... http://www.airaid.com/400-590_ford.asp

If so, can you guys tell me what you have noticed since putting it in? Pros and Cons. Any better MPG, HP and Torque improvement? Thanks...

JB

Well I wish I had done a search before I posted this. This topic was a waste of space. I dont think I saw one person that was happy about theirs. Thank you for pointing that out! I will save my 90 bucks, and put it toward something usefull.

I dont need a whistle, I need more HP, Torque and MPG. lol If I wanted a whistle, I would buy a Supercharger. I must say that I was suprised to hear these things were junk. But if it is, then it is. Im glad I read the stuff on here before wasting the money!

I have heard that Airaid makes more money selling spacers than their intakes. It makes me doubt their engineering honesty (and/or engineering competency).

Hi.

You sir, are a saint.

Some folks don't do that - instead, they buy first then research or ask, and upon discovering that their new acquisition in it's nice flashy new package is in point of fact a POS, they either get defensive (denial), angry or claim false benefits. Human nature, I suppose.

Makes for some real interesting, lively threads, though lol!

Glad this forum was able to spare you some grief.

Well since this is my first project truck, this forum has REALLY helped me out. I hate to feel good about some peoples misfortune, but at least they are able to help people like myself not make the same mistake. And im sure ill make a few myself with this truck, and then I will in turn be able to help other people!

I've said it before, I'll say it again.. TB spacers for these trucks make fine, though overpriced, trotline weights..
