Has anybody heard anything about this intake? Is it worth the money?
Does it lean your engine out like other intakes?

 

the motor really doesnt lean out, as the computer would compensate for the leaned out reading at the maf sensor

 

very inaccurate statement-especially on the 04's- seen 04+ trucks on the dyno with just a cai lean out the motor- ****-i've seen bone stock 04+ running lean from the factory-phil

 

Thats correct. IMO that intake is way over priced. I like the way it looks but Banks quoted me $485 delivered. I just picked up the S&B for $230 delivered from Jegs yesterday. I found the lowest price on the internet and Jegs matched it. The intake goes in tonight or tomorrow.

 

Banks is much more into diesel performance. Very well respected there.

I think there are better choices though for our engines.
