Installed Super 44 today.

Well I went from a Magnaflow to a Flowmaster today.
Got the muffler cut out and the 44 welded up today dumped before the rear axle and damnnnn does it sound NICE! Completely new truck with the 44. I love it! I don't have any pictures yet, but I'll bump this thread back up when I get pics and a video. but cheers to the Super 44!

I have an original series 40 dumped about 10-12" before the rear axle and it sounds awesome. I bet the Super 44 sounds even better. The drone on the original 40 is pretty bad sometimes.

So post a sound clip!

I am in the same boat as you were. I have the Magnaflow 14" and am not happy with the sound and am thinking about switching back to Flowmaster and going with the super44. I like the tone of the Magnaflow but want more sound.

I'd love to hear a sound clip of the 44. Is there much drone inside with it dumped?

glad you like it. give it 1500 miles and it sounds better, it drones a bit at first but after those miles its all smooth tone. i love it.

mine doesnt drone too bad, but it also isnt dumped. just cruising highway you barely notice it but as soon as you even tap the gas, it roars.

Drone isn't to bad. But I'm only 17 so I don't really care to much about it. The Maggie was worse with drone.

pics and video coming up
give the video sometime to process

I'll answer all questions and what not when I get back from MEPS.

From what I've seen the 44 comes in regular aluminized steel, or the "off road" version which is black diamond plate.

I told the muffler place I want a Super 44 and they said okay and that they have it in stock. I made sure with them it was the super 44 multiple times.

Nice welds , but I'll keep my Magnaflow - IMO , it sounds much better and I swithched from a Flowmaster 50 series . I didn't know how much torque I've been missing. Flowmasters , just eat it up..

No offense, good job on the welds ..
