NeverOil Filter from Outlaw Power installed

I installed the NeverOil synthetic filter from Outlaw Power. It is a tough washable media that has a rigid metal structure. The seat of the pants power and sound is the same as the old version cotton gauze filter. According to their website, the new NeverOil filter is supposed to filter better than their old cotton version. Details are here: http://www.outlawpower.com/productdetail.php?sc=1486

Good move. Outlaw Power's synthetic NeverOil filter is great. The company that makes the NeverOil media was developed with Caterpillar earthmovers. It is similar, if not the exact same as AEM's dry media.

How much is it and where did you get it. To clean it do you just hose it off or what?

Aaron at Outlaw Power hooked me up. He is their ECU tuner and engine builder. Make sure you tell him you are a member of f150online.com.

Just hose it out for the regular wash.

If you want to get it really clean, use regular dish soap in a bucket and then rinse it out well. Pretty simple.
