What size motor and what year truck?
Well the flowmaster is usually louder but some notice a loss of low end torque with them.I switched to Magnaflow myself from the loss with flows.
I myself would suggest the magnaflow over the flowmaster.I used to have flowmaster 40 series.Another good muffler is Borla or Dynomax bullets.
If all you want is loud get the flowmaster but you may notice a loss in low end torque depending on your set-up.The shorter the mufler the louder it will be.I think magnaflow has some really short ones out now???
Are you doing true duels or SI/DO??

i thought the f150s cant have true duel. i mean if so ill get the true. shorter route. but i dont want to loose performance. so you think i should go with magnaflwo right ? or check out the borla. you think i can run cut outs with the truedual or would it not make to much of a diffrence.

I would reccomend buying the magnaflow X-Pipe though, there are not many shops that can do that kind of work^^^^^^

Why don't you just cut your muffler off and see how that sounds. That will give you a better idea of what it will sound like.
If you want to stay legal and have performance you have to use mufflers.Find the shortest one you can that is a straight through design. You could always have a y pipe put in and have an exh shop weld the duels up in a SI/DO.Also if you were to just take your factory exh off you could always put it back on to pass emissions. What i mean is have a shop make an exhaust that you could change back to stock easily if you wanted!

well ive taken my friends exhaust off and it sounds nice. but i heard if you leave it off to long its back for the valves and seals. so i didnt want to always have to cut outs open. i was thinking about getting a nice exhaust for the street and the electronic cut outs to show off.

you said money isnt a huge issue, and this setup will give you what you want.
I agree with mSaLL150!!
I am also thinking the magnaflows will not be loud enough for you.I also agree on putting the high flow cats and flowmasters for you.
I think Josiah has the flowmaster 10 series??Sounds pretty bad a$$ IMO.

2 quick questions ive been looking for those parts. i cant find the highflow cat, neither can i find the 10. i found a 10 series but it was under racing exhaust. would that still be concidered legal on the street ?
go to www.troyerperformance.com you may be able to find the cats cheaper??The 10 series is a racing muffler and i am honestly not sure if it's legal.Definately look into it first.
