Flow Super 44's
Flow Super 44's
Would true dual super 44's sound good on a 4.6 with the stock 4 cats? I havent heard a true dual setup with flows on our fords. The only ones i have heard are chevys with the 10 series.
Nope!!
I used to have true duel with 40 series and that sounded good though.
I have not heard one of the 44's yet myself.I think they are supposed to be deaper sounding right?I bet it would sound pretty bad a$$ hopefully you don't loose much low end and don't forget the x-pipe.

well the reason why i ask. is cause i just heard a friends 5.4 and he had the front cats removed and got true dual 10 series. And its loud but not a good rumble. its all bark. and i like tone. So if i got the super 44's or just the 40 in true dual with the front cats taken off. it would be pretty loud but alot of good tone with a xpipe
If your set on the flows i would try the 44's.
I had the 40's and they caused a terrible loss in low end torque,it had good top end though.not what i wanted.
The X-Pipe will really help smooth out the sound.
What are you currently running for exhaust?
