K&N Intake

Hey I was wondering if the K&N intake is a better option for gas mileage and performance over a regular K&N air filter.

Hey Pats, welcome to the forum!!

A filter alone is only going to be a better filter, no performance gains. Might sound a little better, but that's it.

A complete CAI will definitely help performance a bit, not sure about mileage.

I went with an AF1 intake and it's made a big difference in throttle response, can't tell any difference in the mileage.

If you can afford it get the intake, the filter alone won't do much. I recommend S&B intakes.
