Flowmaster Super 44 question

I have a 1998 F-150 that currently is dualed out with one muffler, but two pipes coming out of the muffler. It sounds good but i want a more aggressive sound. I was thinking of buying the Super 44s from Flowmaster because I work at an auto shop and can get flowmasters cheap. I just wanted to get some advice on how a Super 44 might sound on a F-150 with the 5.4L V8. Also if it would sound good with just one muffler but two pipes coming out of that one muffler.

i have a super44 on my 5.4 and it sounds excellent. i have it like yours with a single in dual out setup, and its very agressive. its also nicely toned, not real raspy like some mufflers. i would definitly have your muffler witched out for a super44 especially if you can get it cheap.

Im not quite sure I bought the truck from my dad who had it put on but he doesnt know wut kind they put on it. I think that it may be a Gibson muffler though because of the shape or it may be a glasspack.

mSa,
Do you get any drone/resonance inside the cab?
Do you know if the Super 44's create more or less cab noise than the 40 series?

when i first put it on, a little dron around 2300 but not even close to as bad as this guy who has original 40s. now with 2k miles on it, i swear i can barely hear it at highway speeds. but push the pedal hard and you sure hear it. its very loud outside too, plenty aggresive. im 100% satisfied and i dont like droning.
