I heard somewhere that Mangnaflow makes them. It is a cheap version of magnaflow.

I dont think that is accurate I am pretty sure Gibson is its own company. Gibson makes a good product, I had one on my ranger, not too loud, but if you live in an area where there is road salt, the hangers and clamps will rot off in 2 years, even with a stainless exhaust, but if you do not have salt, you are free and cleare

I have had my Gibson Swept Side system on for over 3 years and have had no problems. It is not much louder than stock, which I prefer, but, you can hear it under acceleration. There is no drone at all. Mine supposedly has the "Lifetime Warranty", hope I never have to see about that???

Thumbs up

I have had 3 gibson exhaust systems in my time. the first was on a 3.0 ranger. the second on a 4.0 ranger. third is on my 2002 4.6 f-150. pretty good product i belive. they were all the swept side exhaust and had a nice mellow tone, sounds racey when you put the pedal down and rev it up nice.
the only thing is the clamps might rust out if you got lots of salt, but im sure you could find a good muffler shop to weld up the pipes for you.
good luck and cant wait to see some pics!

I just put one on this weekend, I like it. Not loud at all, I was hoping for a tad louder then it is, but my friend has mags. and it was too loud for me. I like the looks, and feel it was made nicely. I live in OH so Im a tad worried about salt and that taking out the hangers, but we ll see.....

Overall I like it and wouldnt have gotten anything else. Ill also be high temping it in 2 weeks which should keep the salt from ruining it.

It's all good. I wound up going with the gibson due to many saying they were not as loud until you got on it. with a wife thats important. I had flo's on my last truck, and she always complained.
