00 7700 Exhaust Idea

I just got a 00 7700 that is basically stock. I am thinking about building my own exhaust.

Basically I would use stock cats, then a 3 inch H pipe, then have 3 inch straight pipe to a couple Flowmaster 40 series that then dumped to the ground.

Does that sound like a good plan, or is a true dual setup better? Any other suggestions are welcome.

3" is opening it way too much, you'd lose too much back pressure. You'd only need 3" if you have some serious power. I'd stick between 2 1/4 and 2 1/2(max). I've got headers, 2 high flow cats and 2 10 seies Delta Force dumped before rear axle with 2 1/4" piping LOVE IT
