Flowmaster Super 44 vs. Delta Flow 50 series

I have a SI/DO Flowmaster Delta Flow 50 series muffler on my 2002 F150 4.6L. I am wanting it a little louder/aggressive....would there be much difference with the Super 44 muffler? Thanks.

the 44 is louder but it will cost you some more low end grunt

I'd just put on some 4 inch tips for your current 50 series and it will get louder

i have the super44 and love it. it will be considerably louder then the 50 series delta. never noticed any low end torque loss like people talk about...and i dont think just putting larger tips will give you the sound difference that you want. if you dont replace your muffler, you should cut your tips off and dump it right behind the muffler. that will give you more sound.

I really like my 3.5" tips...so I would rather just replace the muffler. I also dont want to lose any power. Are there any sound clips out there of the 44 series? Thanks.

I just removed the 40 series and installed the 50 the 50 drives great ,I do miss some of the rumble , but don't miss the power loss in low end. the 50 is aslo much quieter inside of the truck

Well tomorrow they are cutting my SI/DO 50 series out and installing a Super 44 SI/DO. Hopefully I like it. If not...the 50 goes back in. Later.

Well, how does it sound compared to the 50 Series?
I'm sure it's louder outside the vehicle but how does it sound inside the cab? Is it much louder than the 50 Series?
