Anyone Tried OBX Long Tubes?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-9...em260143450178

For sale is a set of tubular stainless steel headers for the 99-03 Ford F150 5.4L models. This will not fit the Harley Edition. Please be sure to check with your application as we cannot be held responsible wrong application fitment. Comes with new gaskets, what you see in the picture below is what you will be getting. This header carries a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects from OBX.
Am i reading this correctly???

There has to be a catch, why would it come with Long tube headers, cats with a new mid-pipe, all in stainless for 450?

The quality must be junk, right?

I was lookin into these as well. But i want to wait till i hear somekind of reviews or something about this product. It just seems to good to be true. I think they raised the price because last time i looked at them they were $350. I dont know if I'm ready to buy something without first hearing some kind of feedback on it. Somebody take the dive Please!!!

Labor in China (where OBX is made) is about $2 per DAY versus USA of $15 per HOUR.

Those headers are copies of a USA made header. OBX took that USA made original, sent it to China to be copied. Now if OBX has good QC, then that header would fit just like the American made origunal. However, from what I know of OBX, those will likely have some minor fitment problem that can be fixed by any muffler installation shop/welder.

You can get long tube headers for that price and Pacesetter makes them

guys i might have to make the plunge on these and be your guy's scapegoat. i broke a stud on my stock manifold and i noticed a real tiny crack in it. so i have a loud annoying ticking right now where its leaking at. I was gonna get the pacesetters and some hi flow magnaflow cats but the ceramic coating ones are on back order until the end of this month. And these even come with hi flow cats (prob not as good as the magnaflow ones.) but i dont see any bungs for the o2 sensers or the egr. so i might need some pushing from you guys to actually buy them. i hate to be the first one but i have to get my truck fixed soon.

So how did they work out for you?

Are they actually t-304 ss, how about the fitment? How many Stock cats do you have to remove to install them? Did you need an exhaust shop to do any welding?

Sorry for all the questions, im just curious about these!

they were a freakin pain in the a$$ to put on. the studs on the bottom were so hard to get to. my arms were tweaked in ways i didnt think they could bend. But i did get them on and they were a tight fit on the passenger side, drivers side wasnt to bad. i did have to buy some donuts to put in the flanges. the clamps for the y pipe leak pretty bad.had to extend two o2 sensors. it was suppose to go into the exhaust shop on monday to get all welded up and hooked to my existing pipe but he ended up not touching my truck. so now i have an appiontment on tuesday at a different shop to get hooked up. alot of bad luck so far but it will all work out eventually. so far they look awesome and the quality looks good. i will get picks up when its completly done, maybe even a sound clip.

Those are a POS! The 02 will only be reading 1 cylinder... not good. aluminized will rust eventually. you are getting what you pay for.

That's an easy fix..... just extend your front 02 sensor wires and switch the front ones with the back ones. Then Mil eliminators and you are done an reading all 4 cylinders

The front o2's need to read RIGHT at the collector or they wont be accurate. Putting the front o2's in the back sensor holes wouldn't work. you could put a new bung in the collector, but Its not the fact that its an easy fix, its the fact that the design is so poor.
