stock muffler/no cats

I used to have a 5.0 in a newer model mustang. I loved the way the exhaust was. I had the stock muffler still on and had the cats taken off and it had a really strong sound to it. What would it sound like if i kept the stock muffler on and removed my the cats? maybe remove all of them or the rear 2. My mustang rumbled and it sounded so strong. My truck is a 04 5.4 liter. Any Info????

Cut the rear cats out or replace all 4 with 2 high flows

Josiah has his f150 with the 2 rear cats removed and a 10 series flowmaster. It sounds good in his video. would this be really loud? i want a deep sound but not annoying in the cab because it was a pain talking the ol lady in to allowin me to get sum. She demanded them not be a constant hummmm in the cab. any other suggestions?

Flowmasters are famous for cab drone. Look at Magnaflow. Run the pipe or pipes all the way out the back or out behind the rear wheels. Dumps will drone no matter what muffler you use and you will get exhaust in the cab.

I would not remove all 4 cats - replace them with 2 high flows if anything, this will keep you emissions legal and allow you to keep the O2 sensors.
