fix for manifold leak

I have a slight leak on the right manifold on the back port. I was told by one mechanic that one of those stud is broke. Said it would be between $200 and $700 to fix. Im thinking he will charge the $700 after I put it in. Is there any sealants that can be used around that leak. I know its not a permenant fix but right now I dont see paying a lot of money for just a slight leak that is not a mechanical issue. Any input would be a lot of help.

no sealant will work, it will blow right out. your going to have to get it fixed. 200-700$ is about right. depending on how many studs get broken when he removes it.
