i got a 03 150 xl and wanted to get into a better exhaust but am limited on money so for right now just wanted a really good sounding efficient muffler got any ideas????

 

Get something stainless if possible, I got a JBA 3" single in/out and love it, flows good too. A tedious search will find flowmaster and magnaflows to be really favored. Find out what's available for you're setup of truck and go from there. If you live where aluminized steel will last more than 4 yrs, get flowmaster or dynomax.
