Flowmaster 40 Question
My friend has a set of flowmaster 40s from an old mustang he used to have. He took them off and said he would give them to me for free if I wanted them. My question is are they going to work and sound good on my truck, an 01 Screw, or are the mufflers going to be different then what I should buy for my truck? I believe they are 2.5 in. Thanks

FM mufflers
How long are the mufflers? The shorter the muffler the louder,the longer,the quieter.If you want loud,dump the mufflers just in front of your rear end,put turndowns on them.If you want quiet,run your duals all the way out the back to the rear bumper.The FM's will be loud,and probably drone a bit @ highway speed,but for free,you cant beat that,they are a good muffler.Run them for a while,save some $$ for some new mufflers,good luck.
