wanting to change the muffler on my 06 Screw. I have 5.4 and just want to change the muffler only and add a tip to the stock pipe. Not too loud as is a daily driver and driven alot. I think it is a 2.5" stock pipe. I saw the 6" round 30" long magnaflow but didn't know if it would be as quite as the stock. I want more sound, but not glasspack/cherry bomb sound. Thanks.

 

You are going to get a ton of answers, but IMO you should get the Flowmaster Super 40, its loud when you get on it, but no drone at all and pretty quiet when cruzin

 

I love my Magnaflow. The larger the case the quieter they are. The one you picked shouldn't make a sound. I have one of the smaller ones and it's still not real loud. Much quieter than the Flowmaster 40's I had on my last truck. The Flows were cool for a while, then they were just too loud. Sometimes I couldn't talk on the phone becuase of the noise and drone. Every Flow system I've heard has drone, unless you get the 60 or 70 series.

 

I love the Hemi sticker, I need that for my truck, there is this guy in town that calls his the "Ultimate Domination Machine" and we always argure over who's truck is better!

 

So maybe a 6" round 14" long si/so? How would that sound?
