Just need some opinions

Right now I have a 40 series Flowmaster that is dumped before the axle. It sounds pretty good, but I would like it too sound a little more powerful and aggresive. I will most likely get a true dual setup at some point, but right now I'm trying to save my money. I also put together my 2 other exhaust setups to save some money....

so I am thinking about going and getting another piece of pipe and another turndown and re-use my hangers and clamps and just run a straight pipe dumped. Alot of people have told me that the straight pipes aren't as loud as you think, just when you step on it alot, but thats what I am looking for.

Question? Would this be alot louder in the cab than my current dumped 40 series or just a little bit? I mean i'm used to the drone of the 40 series and it doesn't bother me much, but I just don't want it to be way too obnoxious.

Ive had true dual 40 series dumped with my stock cats, then true straights dumped, and believe it or not, straights were quieter... at wot it was just a more agressive sound than with the mufflers.

Yeah it seems that the stock cats really make the these trucks alot quieter. My friend has an F350 powerstroke and he said when he took off the muffler it wasn't much different. It didn't really get loud until he ditched the cat too.
