Tb & Maf

I have a couple questions. I currentley have the stock TB & MAF and was curious as to how much a larger TB and MAF help on the bottm end. I have heard both that it helps a little, and others have felt no change. Any help/insight to this wold be greatley appreciated. Also, my truck is a 2001 supercrew 5.4 auto 4x4

T/B and MAF

I installed the BBK 75mm T/B on my 2000F-150 w/4.6.If there was any change in performance,it would have to have been measured on a dyno,I honestly didn't notice any increase in performance or fuel economy,I bought the T/B to match my CAI.As far as the MAF,after talking w/several of my gearhead friends(they all own Mustangs,I'm the only truck in the bunch)and posting the same question here,to take advantage of a larger MAF,the engine needs to be modified to handle more air,(i.e. larger cams, porting and polishing heads, supercharger or turbocharger application where more air is passed through the engine. The stock MAF you have on your truck is good out to about 400hp.So save your $ for somethig else tuner,e-fans,something that you will benefit from, hope this helped, good luck.
