Ok i am consideriing replacing my current flowmaster 40 for either true dual 40's or a new SI/DO muffler. Which is louder? Or i was thiking about getting dual glasspacks. Would they sound loud and agressive? Running off each manifold.

Go with the 40's true duals i had a glasspack and now i have a flows 40 siso dumped sounds way louder and better.

polpilot your exhaust sounds great are they the super 40's or just the 40 series?

 

there not real flows i think ist some think like VR series molded off the 40. i was told is the exaxt same but haly the price. a muffler shop here in town has them. i figured i need two so why not i love the sound!

 

Hey polpilot your truck sounds awesome! Do u have true duals out the back or dumped? I have a flowmaster 40 right now siso dumped after the cats, but i'm thinking of cutting off my back 2 cats and getting another 40 and dumping them where the cats are, then if it sounds bad i'll run tailpipe out the back.

 

thanx, ive got shorty headers and true dual exiting befor the rear tire. and i have no cats but im thinking about putting a couple back on. i would leave the two on like you said just cut the rears off.
