im curious if anyone has any exp. replacing the rear most O2 sensor with a simulator. im seriously thinking of getting my rear if not all, cats cut out, i have a custom 2.5" single in dual out magnaflow mufflered catback on there. opinions? suggestions? id like a header but im not sure what to get and cant afford to go to crazy, id like to avoid any check engine lights .

Do the sims in this link work? or does anyone know where to ge the proper kind?

I would be careful with this. The EPA shut down the company that sells the MIL-ELIMATORS. They were asking for a list of all the people they sold them to.

o2 eliminator

The o2 eliminators you put the link up to don't work.Summit racing sells o2 eliminator that are manufactured by BBK,they run about $60.00 for a set, they do work.Any on line parts store that sells performance Mustang parts will also carry the eliminators,so you can look for the best deal. When you install the,you just tuck them out of the way or zip tie them up so they don't get burned or damaged.when i installed my high flows I kept my o2 sensors, its much easier, just weld the bung that holds the sensor a couple of inches behind the new cat, between the new cat and pipe.I've had no problems w/ my high flows and my truck runs great since I installed them.Hope this helped, good luck w/ your exhaust.

Well i dont need to pass emissions now so i dont need cats at all, really but i dont want me computer to go into limp mode or anything. im jsut wondering if i should try cutting the rears out and seeing how that goes you dont need to mess with the sensors at all to do that do you?

So if you eliminate the O2 sensor, will it mess with your mpg/ mixtures with the computer? do you need a chip to control that if you gut/eliminate all cats?
