Dual vs Single

I have a F-150 and wanting to add some power to this heavy mug.

Specs:
Pretty much stock
04' F-150 with a 5.4L 3v
3.55 gears
Added a cool air kit.
Soon to add a custom tuner.

My questions are:
Would it be worth going with a Tru Dual over a Single Exhaust system?
Going with a Tru Dual, would I have enough back pressure??

Been looking at the new Super 44 Flowmasters, but still open to brand/type of muffler.

im doing the exact same thing as you. a friend and i are installing my intake system this afternoon, then tomorrow morning im taking it to the shop for pipe bend on my SIDO super44 exhaust system. my edge tuner should be here today or tomorrow also. ill let you know how it goes.

if you want more power and are going for a true dual system, go with 2 1/4" pipes for more backpressure. othwise id stick to a SIDO for best performance.

It's hard to find the Super 44 in the Houston area, everyone is having to order it out of Dallas. I had a shop cut off my factory muffler, they fired the truck up. I was really shocked how quite the truck was without a muffler on it...
The reason they cut it off, they said they had a Super 44 in-stock and they were going to let me hear what it sounded like before they welded. Well, they ended cutting the muffler first without checking stock. ugh... I heard a few other mufflers (magnaflow was really quite, and a standard 40 flowmaster). I just had them weld the stock back on. Since I'm in the process of waiting on a Super44 to come in, just figured I might do true dual from the factory cats. Not sure if I would gain much power by doing that or would it end up hurting me...

order a super44 from the flowmaster site, they are based in california so it'll take like 3-4 days to get to you. true duals will not gain you any power, especially with stock size pipes.
