Meinike is the only vendor around here that sells the cherry bomb extreme muffler. I was quoted $360 on the phone for a catback system with chrome tips straight out the back, and $390 for out the side. Does this seem high?

 

That sounds on the high side to me, even if it's including installation. Have you tried looking at some vendors on-line? Most of 'em will give you free shipping for ordering something like cat-backs. Unless there's a lot of custom bending of the pipes I don't think installation (not counting the price of the mufflers) should be more than $100 or so.

Just sounds a bit high for what you want.. do some searching, hopefully you can find a better price!

I was just quoted $190 plus mufflers for true duals w 2 1/4 pipes w/ ss slash tips so yea that sounds high to me.

 

The going rate around here is 350... That is for SIDO ,either Flowmaster or Magnaflow... pipes... tips.. and install... complete.. including tax.
